In the teams I participate in (as scrum master), we use the following artifacts on a day to day basis:

  • Story cards
  • Acceptance test cards
  • Information wall showing product backlog and current sprint stories
  • Burndown chart

Are there any more artifacts that you'd consider useful for the team to see daily?

I use a burn up chart showing the business value added each sprint. It helps the team to visualise the contribution they are making to the business.

Another tool I use are Avatars. Each team member has an avatar, which they place on the task they are working on, it's especially helpful with new teams to help them to work on only one thing at a time. It's also an instant visual guide to who is working on what for the team, stakeholders, passers by.. etc.

I tend to have the board flow as well, from product backlog/release plan through to the current sprint and then the completed backlog etc..

A list of active bugs. Rarely kept on information wall (at least in Scrum), usually some tool is used to track bugs. Either way that's something whole team work with on a daily basis.

cumulative flow diagrams can be useful for showing WIP in it's various states.

Also I have recently started publishing impediments and the actions in progress against them.

Lastly, for a while we included retrospective actions (try this) sometimes as a list next to the task board, sometimes as work items for the task board.

Any blocking issues are good to keep visible for the team and others to see.

I prefer to let each team decide what information they need to see on a daily basis, so no, I can't suggest anything specific without knowing more about your team. Have you asked the team what artifacts they think they need?
