I recently wrote a blog post about not getting stuck when documenting a process.

I found that this kind of project often gets bogged down with process improvement ideas rather than staying focused on recording a process so that it can be better tracked and managed.

The solution I implemented was to quickly put process improvement ideas into an "idea box" concept and table them until after the documentation process was complete.

Any other suggestions on how to tackle this?
